Intimacy and Anxiety

We know to have healthy, resilient relationships we have to be strong enough to hold the discomfort of conflict and difference, right?
What about the discomfort of being seen completely by another?
What about the discomfort of being loved and accepted?
What about the discomfort of closeness?
Of allowing someone to touch you in such a way that something in you moves and changes under their influence?
Sure we know the discomfort of conflict and difference. We talk about conflict avoidance and people pleasing.
But do you know how your discomfort with closeness blocks out intimacy?
Do you know how to hold your loved ones close and accept your differences, tensions, and individuality at the same time?
