It’s so interesting watching stuff I learned about in social/political theory classes play out in real life. Like people so adamantly trying to preserve the status quo as culture and society shift around them in unchangeable ways.

Like once that shit is out of the box it’s not going back. That’s just how it works. The only thing for certain in culture is change.
